This is not fully complete. “Capitalism” can have “collaborative consumerism” but it can also have “predator capitalism”.

Isn’t it naive to think that a whole system of governance could ever be purely capitalistic or purely socialistic?

Applying the wisdom of free markets is essential in some areas , except when the free markets begin to include too much competition, we can see predator capitalism emerge, which is not healthy for society.

Makes sense that this is more a design issue, less political than its being made out to be.

Elements of capitalism can be fused with elements of collectivism (socialism) in ways that can be healthy.

It’s not really a political argument, it’s an argument driven by data and design and it’s disappointing to see political parties confuse this and miss this.
