No, it’s proof that religion is up until the enlightenment the only civilization building tool we had, while designing the “religious experience” was the only medium creative visionaries had. It is proof that science has not delivered a psychological alternative nor does science understand the very dominant human condition that requires a basic need as well as the variety of different types of minds that a society contains.

It is proof that while science may be the light of the world, scientists are human beings, with their own frail psychologies, and their own bias that also fail in self reflection.

Maybe it’s time “science”, or what ever that means, starts learning the wisdom of evolution and adapt to the complexity of human nature instead of a failure to adopt an ideology.
