Misinformation can also evolve contextually, simply by different communities using one word with two completely different types of context in the process of relying what is assumed to be one narrative can evolve into two narratives, with one being slightly misinformed than the other. What’s more, misinformation can also be planted by an agenda based agent in commerce or politics, for example. Asking internet users to be more mindful seems to be producing a lot more positive effect than I was expecting, so this is good news, but it just helps with a few layers of misunderstanding in the spread of misinformation, slowing it down perhaps, but certainly not stopping or halting its distribution, whereas intentional agendas to deceive can easily work around this first step. What I also like about this first step is it is easily universally adopted as well as something that could easily be regulated. Thx team :)
