Malthus was wrong, Bucky Fuller showed us that all resources, responsibly managed, are replenishing and therefore abundancy is something that can be engineered.

What’s more, since 1968 we have had enough design and engineering know how to distribute billionaire levels of resources to every man, woman, and child .

This “assumption” that scarcity is a permanent feature is a result of politics and psychology, not science and engineering.
