Jules I love this direction you’re going in with this. Very insightful regarding the extreme “left” more isolated in one area (San Francisco ) can create enough of a bubble that the billionaires inside of it can only see the whole world as wokeism .

A few added notes; the true futurist thought leaders on most if not all points mentioned in your article including all the characters in Silicon Valley were all folks like Timothy Leary, Robert Anton Wilson, and especially Bucky Fuller. I think if you look at the vision Silicon Valley started with in the 80s and 90s (saturated by the aforementioned pioneers) you will discover a purer vision than the one mentioned in these two books.

The idea to make democracy better via technology is an old one in our culture, and the one predicted by Bucky Fuller has far more immediate appeal and substance.
