I’m usually with you most of the time, and of course the fact that big web publishers have to take out ads on their own websites to reach their own audience (the publisher reach problem) I think you’re misinterpreting the censorship side.

Curation is something different than just “censorship”. Social media platforms are both publishers and networks. We should expect curation.

Treating the distribution of content as just a peer to peer network messaging system may fail in communicating both the “audience reach problem” and the “freedom of reach” demand
