I think my comment still applies, even if as you claim your article only focused on blockchain flavored web3, it began with "web3 is BS", agreeing with Elon Musk who ironically critiqued web3 twitter for doing something he obnoxiously does with Doge. Web3 is a solution, not a cause. "web3 is BS" is simply a misunderstanding of web3 and blockchain.
