I think dismissing the hard problem is probably just as foolish as relying on it, however.
What I mean to say is, I too quite enjoyed your explanation of emergence. It made a lot of sense when you explain it that way.
However, it hasn’t made “enough” sense yet to become an actual scientific theory for how mind, awareness and consciousness emerge from simple physical states.
And that’s what makes me so suspicious, why would there be so much certainty about something with no scientific theory or testable hypothesis?
Can you find this scientific theory of mental and phenomenal emergence from biological states?
